Institutional Status
IBAS is a private institution that does not hold Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA) status and is not recognized by the Swiss federal government or any cantonal authority.
For further information on Swiss accreditation standards, please visit AAQ.

Program Accreditation
IBAS holds program accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), which is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States.

Please note that programs offered under the “Global Pathway Edition” and “Verified Edition” models are not covered by ACBSP accreditation. These programs are exclusively awarded under IBAS and ISASAHE accreditations.

Future Accreditation Efforts
IBAS is actively working toward achieving University of Applied Sciences accreditation in Switzerland. However, this process cannot guarantee coverage for current programs, and there is no assurance that future accreditation will extend to the Global Pathway Edition or Verified Edition models.

The flexibility and innovation of these models are core priorities for IBAS, and adherence to state regulations may limit our ability to maintain full control over their structure and content.
