About Master of Business Administration – General

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) – General program will excel your business administration skills to the next level. Students will gain an understanding of organizational structure, managerial skills, and it addresses the importance of innovation, problem-solving techniques, change management and global business environment.  Upon completion students will be ready to join the workforce in middle management and embark on an excellent career.

Our MBA programmes are designed to accommodate your career goals and lifestyle with flexible options for completion. All pathways provide a strong foundation in core business principles, opportunities to specialize in your area of interest, and the practical experience needed to excel in today’s competitive business environment. We offer several MBA study models to accommodate different timelines, professional goals, and learning preferences.

  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent). You are STILL eligible for admission if you do not hold a business-related degree.
  • OR Advanced diploma degree in business discipline with a minimum of 120 ECTS (or equivalent), plus a minimum of 3-years of evidenced work experience at a managerial level
  • OR Diploma or associate diploma degree in business discipline with a minimum of 60 ECTS or equivalent, a minimum of 5-years of evidenced work experience at a managerial level
  • Other cases, please contact Admission staff for further guidance
  • English proficiency: B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Alternatively, prior academic study in English may be accepted as proof of language competence.

Program-Specific Accreditation
IBAS has achieved ACBSP accreditation for its MBA and DBA programs. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States.

Ongoing Accreditation Efforts
IBAS is actively pursuing Swiss University of Applied Sciences accreditation. However, it is important to note that current or existing programs are not guaranteed to be included under any future accreditation, and such a recognition/accreditation is not guaranteed to be obtained.

To support students seeking a state-recognized qualification, IBAS has established partnerships with recognized institutions, including ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education) in the UK. Through this collaboration, IBAS has aligned its curriculum to allow students to earn dual certification via ATHE. More details about ATHE are available at ATHE.
